Boot lid blocks screw size needed

Hi, In removing the perished boot lid blocks and badly corroded screws, the screw heads are a right mess. Can anyone tell me what thread size they are and I can get some from a local supplier. The larger bolts from the lid blocks are actually ok, its the lower blocks connected to the body, 2 screws per block, that I need to replace.

I changed mine to M5 x 16 socket cap head screw + M5 spring washer (4 off each to do both sides). As mentioned, use stainless steel if possible. My original screws were stuck, so I cut the rubber off and used a combination of gentle heat and a pair of water pump pliers to get them out. Good luck;)
