Damaged AC pump

Hi guys, i'll and explain as best as I can. My ac pump is slightly damaged where the coolant hoses get mounted, one of the threaded pins is snapped so the hose cannot be put on. Now I noticed there is a plate that screws off the top of the pump (4 allen key screws) this plate has the damaged part on. I have another pump so rather than change the pump would it be possible to change just the plate? has anyone ever removed this plate before?
