How to tell the difference between pre facelift UK and Jspec speedo clusters

Hi all,

A while back I bought a 180mph speedo cluster (speedo, rev counter, fuel gauge etc) which the idea of replacing my current 300mph converted speedo (as it annoys the hell out of me). How do I tell if the 180mph cluster is from a UK spec or just a Jspec cluster with a different face?

It's for a manual in case it makes a difference. I'm hoping it's from a UK as then in theory (after reading on here) I can remove my converter and install the UK cluster.

Any help would be great!

The uk one has trac control written on the indicator light, the jap has slip control i think, and also the jap spec cluster has a 'slip control off' indicator below the main beam whereas the uk one has a fog light indicator there. I realized this when i bought some brushed metal dials for mine from a group buy on here.

Hmm, just shined a torch through the back of the cluster to see what lit up near the fuel/ temperature gauge. It only seems to have a blue fog light icon right at the top next to the "F" of the fuel gauge, a green "cruise" light half way down and the red (!) icon right at the bottom near the "H" of the temperature gauge.

No sign of any trac/ slip control lights, does this mean it's from an N/A Jspec or do UK's have the trac related stuff in a totally different area?
