i dont know if this is just me or whether im not use to driving a supra (n/a manual) but when i go to pull of unless the revs are about 2k then the car jedders and makes a weird noise from the back end like im wheel spinning. If i rev at over 2k and pull off i have no noises or judders.

I didnt remember this happening when i drove my dads before. It only happens in 1st gear and reverse. Has anybody got any ideas???

thanks

s3upra before you rip out gearbox-is it j spec?does it have a speed delimiter on? if so try disconnecting it first.my j spec tt had EXACTLY the same problem, turned out to be this.good luck.

Thanks for the advice s3upra, the car is a j spec (48k miles on the clock) im not sure if it has a speed restrictor or not as ive only had the car for a week ad havent been brave enough to try to see what she can do.

Where would i find the speed delimiter?
