right,

i have an NA supra.

a light on my dash board keeps coming up when i go over 75-80mph.

i looked through my manual but its the one symbol not listed.

it looks like a the base of a frying pan but one on top of another and it has like heat symbols coming out the top,!!

does ne one know what i am talking about and do they know what it is! when it goes on the main warning light on the rev. comes on too, it only stays on for a short minute then goes off till the next time i go over that speed!

its on the left hand side dial strip and is the 2nd last one nearest the left hand side of the steering wheel!!

advice if ne one knows would be great!!!!!

thanks

Tis indeed the cat temp sensor.

Could your cat innards have broken down and thus block the flow a bit, raising the temps, or possibly the sensor has failed.

Either way, its got to be cheaper to get a de-cat pipe.
