fitting fronts and servicing rears?

I have just bought some UK front brakes and want to get them fitted in London.

Also want to replace my J-Spec rears with new pads + disks.

While the rears are being replaced I would quite like the rears to be serviced? I think they might be sticking slightly.

Or do you think I should just get a new set or UK rears as well?

UK rears are $$$ thats the only problem.

Any ideas?

Chris, if Watford's not too far I know a decent cheap garage there. Try the fronts, get them to check the rears over. Let me know if you want the #

Seriously dood its not that hard a job to do UK brake swap. Lets put it this way I showed my missus how to do it on one side and she did the other. The most difficult bit in my opinion is the bleeding part but if you get a gunsons pressure bleed kit with a gunsons pressure bleed kit bayonet cap universal adaptor even thats not too bad. If ya want PM me I will let ya have my phone number and can talk ya through it if you want. Servicing the sticky rears will be a bit more complex but its not all that difficult just a bit messy (brake fluid is very ikky stuff).

I know it might seem a stupid thing to say but I assume you are running on stock 17" wheels or above and not the stock 16"s.

Most reputable garages charge about £30 an hour ish and if they take approx half the time it took me to do the job then no more than 2-3 hours with the barake caliper servicing I reckon.
