Kev.O
I'm thinking of taking apart my Aeromotive FPR as I want to get the top (that's currently red) anodised. Has anyone ever taken one apart? Does it have any parts that will need to be replaced once open, ie gaskets? I don't want to open it up only to have parts fly everywhere and not be able to put it back together. Thanks. Tricky-Ricky
Just undo the four allen screws, there is a spring inside but its not under a lot of compression, just be careful of the diaphragm as it can stick the the body and tear, other than that they are not at all complicated, which is why i am quite happy to use a copy, i have dismantled both and there is no difference;)
Kev.O
Providing the fuel system doesn't have any pressure ie not been started for a few days, will any fuel leak out? Thanks for the reply Rick.

No there won't be any residual pressure, usually gone after 5-10 mins, although there may be some in the lower chamber.
