stinboy
With the weather getting better I'm planning on giving the beast a weekend of tlc. There are a couple of hairline cracks in the front bumper (carparking incident a couple of weeks a go). Can anyone recommend anything to sort this out - I have been reading about Meguiars Scratch X. Does anyone have any experience of this product? It's a long term problem with this bumper - Top Secret type II - I'm seriously considering returning to stock. Stonkin
Hi Stinboy, Scratch X will not be of any use to you in this situation. It is for removing minor swirls and light scratches within the paint. If the bumper has been knocked a bit and has therefore cracked/broken the paint finish, or even cracked the bumper itself, then it will need sanding down, preparing and respraying im afraid

AlexJames
is it just a paint crack or a bumper crack?
stinboy
upon closer inspection it's just a paint crack
