The problem i had was finding the box, all i ever got were full conversions with a load of shit i didnt need that people refused to split. thinking of buying mine? gaz1
This for your son's NA gaz? well he has done the required amont of time without having a knock so we are looking at the possibilty, as he loves the look of his and a shame to sell and buy a tt, and mine is a bit too much for him:D
Jezz
i thaught u could use the same dif and prop? :S No mate. 5 speed diff and prop completely different. what sort of price for that lot jez, and how many hours labour for the conversion I'd guess at the same amount of labour as a TT conversion, as the box has to come out and go back in anyway. So around £750. The parts themselves come to £2200 for the TT conversion, and around £800 for a 6 speed box should one crop up on its own. Plus you'd need to factor in the price of a good clutch and fmic or after market smic, as I rarely see a smic that isnt scrap.
