kieren1234
My friend has kindly agreed to spray my headlight lenses for me free of charge at a sprayshop he works at. On one condition - i do the prep work. I have spent the last two hours sanding the headlight lenses and are just coming to the end of finishing one. My fingers are aching and finger tips burning from the rubbing, any special tips for the next one i do??

Godmutha
Nope... not an easy job... but you reap the rewards when its done Just keep changing the position of the sandpaper in your hand if you can, and watch out for the beginnings of blisters. kieren1234
I would get someone to do it if i could afford it, they wanted £60 to do them if they do the prep work and i have nt got that. My fingers are blistered over already but i suppose it will be all good in the end when they look really nice.

kieren1234
i know i wish i did wear gloves now!! Godmutha you are very...........domesticated for a woman. And not afraid of a little hard work so well done to you. :) Cant use something on a drill bit as it will rip through the plastic and the sanding lines would be even harder to get rid of. Oh well one down, another to go which i will tomorrow.

Its a good thing, i i asked my missus to go and sand the inner lense on the headlights she would think i was speaking dutch.
