Supragal
My lack of memory is quite something at the moment... now we are into daylight saving, the mornings are closing in more and more. How dark at what time does it get? I mean, will it get to the point when it is still dark at 7am? 6am? I suppose dawn time would be useful... Lukeyboy2k
I think we (in London) only get about 8 hours of daylight during the winter solstice, meaning that sunrise will be close to 08:00 and sunset at 16:00. (There are also very slight variations year to year - i.e. the times can shift slightly either way)
Alex
Darkest longest night is the 21st of Decemeber I believe. So check the paper (a proper one) for the sunset/sunrise times. Add 2 mins to sunrise and take away 2mins from sunset for every day till the 21st and hey presto...

Supragal
Yeah 21st Dec is the shortest day IIRC. 2 mins a day. Right. Math. So about a hour left, damn, so it will be dark by 6am ish at the shortest day. Booo.

Can't you remember last year or the year before or the year before that or maybe even Google up some answers. You may even find that timeanddate.com will give you sunrise and sunset times for your area. Sheesh!
