ECK Posted November 16, 2007 Share Posted November 16, 2007 hi all just recently i have replaced my clutch and since doing this there seems to be a bit of a thud sound when changing gear when pushing hard the sound is definatley from the rear and it does sound like the diff i first thought i hadnt tightend something around the propshaft area but after checking again i haddnt left anything loose i'm hoping the diff isnt on the way out there seems to be a little play in the diff pinion bearing but not alot, could this be the problem? has anyone changed this? any way i dont want to push the car as i dont want it to go but i also dont want to pussy the car everywhere any help would be great guys thanks for looking alex Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Suprash Posted November 19, 2007 Share Posted November 19, 2007 Mine sometimes makes a small thud noise when going into gear, just trying to remember when exactly it does it, but its only at certain times, like at a standstill and going into second or something, cant remember now...................
