SupraD06
hi guys, for the last 3-4 months ive been getting a bit of a grinding noise on the rear ( drivers side i think) wheel, i dont use the car very often and it only gets run at the weekend so it stands still most the time in the week, anyway when i pull off the drive if i have the window down i can hear a grinding noise as i drive along, not sure if its the break pads just catching slightly or if the bearing is on its way out, it goes if you break though, any clues, and does anyone else get this????????? NeoFuture
does the noise go after a while, are your disks rusty, does it happen more when braking, does it sound the same all the time or "change speed" does it go at any speed, does it get louder when at any speed, what are your rear tyres like

SupraD06
does the noise go after a while, after the car has done a few miles it goes away as far as i know are your disks rusty, they tend to be by the time i come to use the car again yes. does it happen more when braking no only when i drive a low speeds, i doesnt get worse or make the noise when breaking does it sound the same all the time or "change speed" does it go at any speed does it get louder when at any speed. it only seems to be all fairly low speeds and only when it hasnt been used for a while, once its been driven a while it quietens down, bit when you first drive it the noise speeds i.e its a continious noise not something catching once every full rotation what are your rear tyres like they are only about 2000miles old and ive had them on about a year now

SupraD06
am very tempted to get the rear bearings done just incase as i cant find them on any of the service papers i have with the car so not sure when/if they have ever been done, had a bearing go on my last car which i left to long and the wheel finaly trashed the thread and completely sheared of, my wheel came off the car dug in the ground and spun into a ditch ripping the whole bodykit off, hoping this doesnt happen again lol
