Chris Wilson
Just how the Scandinavians cope with icy weather I don't know, they must be superhuman or something. We get nannied with salt and speed limits, then total gridlock happens if more than 10 mm's falls.

Don't "tap" the gas then Salt is very unpredictable and will cause more than a few accidents this year, as most years. The fact that it can be slippery as ice one second and then grip in an instant means you shouldn't drive like a mong at all in these conditions. Disclaimer: All IMO of course and remember kids, do as I say, not as I do.

It's all the same if EVERY road is ice

Unbelievably there was a four car pile up with air ambulance lifting people to the hospital up the road from where your Jane works. It was a bit foggy, slightly cold road and they all piled into each other. Obviously too fast and too close to each other. Cass
Had the car under sealed again just not long ago for the winter roads, but might invest in some winter tyres aswell to be on the safe side
