b_have
Guys, anyone know about the physics of ducted hot air? I'm trying to design a system to transfer hot (28C) air via a 125mm insulated pipe over 10 metres with minimal heat loss. I'm using an inline mixed flow electric turbine that will shift 280 M3/hr. Will I be able to shift this quantity of air without losing much of its heat energy?
JustGav
With the correct type of insulation around the pipe you should be fine, bear in mind 28c isn't too excessively hot so you shouldn't loose too much due to thermal transfer to the atmosphere....
