My bro is using amule but there are problems with this and the new leopard os so is there anything else i could use pref to download ed2k links. bmx1lew Posted November 16, 2007 Share Posted November 16, 2007 im thinking of going for a power mac however i need to know if i will get any compatibility issues if i upgrade the graphics card to a dx10 one, i love the mac os however i want enought power for dx10 games ie crysis, so was thinking of running boot camp for games and simply swapping the graphics card. I have my 8800 working in Tiger 10.5.10 on my hackintosh so it should be possible. However, the performance within OSX is reduced as the drivers aren't specific. Yes. I'm not going into it on here though. Read the Insanely Mac forums and you will learn a lot. I don't think AMD works with Leopard at the moment though and it can be fussy with drivers - after all they had no reason to write a load of drivers to support PC hardware. Well the new PowerBooks have Geforce 8800 cards in them so they are using the hardware, just encoding the BIOS and drivers to match up.
