Bossco
Mine used to do this and stall every now and again. I was told it was a dirty sensor so had it cleaned but it didnt help. I was then told it was a dirty throtle body. I had this cleaned but still didnt make any difference. Then I had changed the gause from my airfilter and my idle picked up straight away and hasn't stalled since. That is the end of my story. Love Bossco. NeoFuture
its something to do with the compression of the air and the way the ECU manages it mine used to do tht in the cold (my old NA) and my new one does it too, i wouldnt be concerned

Dyer864
To answer ur question first, why would my power steering feel light when driving av anything to do with the way it starts up ? but to answer that , yes it does feel very light when driving, is there some sort of explanation for that, but went out early this morn for work, still very cold and started car up, rev's up to 2000 and idles back down to 750 ish, back to normal again ! STRANGE !!! :search: MUST HAVE BEEN A CAT UNDER MY BONNET WARMING IT'S ARSE I THINK, WITH THIS COLD WEATHER !

Only trying to help fella so theres no need to come it with the clever sarcasm , You see the reason i asked is i had the same problem and the easiest way for me to determine if you had the same problem as me was to ask about the power steering as the 2 are conected . Check for error codes as my guess is an error code 42 with a dodgy #1 speed sensor .
Dyer864
Never meant to be sarcastic mate ! just thought it a strange one, i'm not that mechanically minded and didn't know the two would be connected !! cheer's fella for the advice ! and will do.
