Daston
Hey guys This is a real annoying problem. Just got some nice touches for my rig and picked up a G9 Logitech gaming mouse. However XP refuses to pick it up (USB) Installed the drivers and currently sat in Vista where it works fine. Is there a toggle in XP that should be ticked to turn on USB mice??? JustGav
Try a different USB port, XP sometimes forgets about mine...
Konrad
Does it detect mouse, when you unplug/plug mouse again?
Daston
nope tried all the USB ports and it dosnt pick it up at all. Annoyingly the mouse dosnt work with a PS/2 adapter either. However if I unplug it and boot to vista it works fine. Maybe I will have to take the leap and uninstall xp.....
AndyT
My Trust mouse did this. Could only ever get it to work in one port (XP only here) Even then it misbehaved. Bit the bullet and bought a Microsoft wireless 6000 jobby yesterday. Everything fine now.

AndyT
ah dont want to be buying another one after £60 on a mouse! £60 MS job was £24 from Currys and they're dear. Suppose yours is a more specialized job.
colsoop
Is there an updated driver on the manafacturers website ?
Konrad
I'm not sure it is mouse driver, which is causing a problem. I would say that XP struggling to manage USB.
