jim_supra
That's good news for Honda, although I think Ferrari will be causing trouble again next year by having Honda scrutinised by the FIA to see if they are using any of their ideas. colsoop
I hope he can get Honda nearer the front for a change
paul_y3k
will it mean Button getting a kick ???
Alex
will it mean Button getting a kick ??? Eh?? Are you making some sort of INCORRECT comment about Button's performance in a complete dog of a car? When DESPITE the dog he whipped his team-mate.... Honestly I can't see how anyone can have a pop at Button for his efforts...I'd have walked out!
colsoop
I would have thought the appointment of Ross Brawn would be a way of making Button stay.

T2 MSW
yep great news for Button, better news would have been that he was in the second seat at Mclaren (british team, british drivers) but I guess this will do. Prob is now everyone is going to expect Ross to work miricles and have them at the top next year - thats just never going to happen!
Branners
and ferrari just announced that Todt is stepping aside and all sorts of people are taking over that I never heard of. Funny old world. JB

Alex
Ross has said in interviews that he wanted a challenge, he wanted to join a team in crisis (but Toyota would have been a poor choice as they have already demonstrated they won't work in ay way other than the Toyota Way). Honda are therefore a perfect match, massive budget and massive issue's. Hope Honda's clean sheet design for 2008 is a big improvement on the RA107, this will give the team a big lift and we'll see a big turn around in '08. neil tt
Thats why he took a year out, so he could move to another team, without taking any tecnical information with him:)

mattanna
Brawn is good, but wothout Rory Byrne, Paulo Martinelli, Michael Schumacher , and even Nigel Stepney (although he may be at Honda yet)etc then who knows, he is not a miracle worker.Amazing Ferrari road cars reliabilty terrible, F1 good, Honda road cars bulletproof, F1 cars shite???.The Brawn era at Ferrari was good but it was lots of right people at the right time, lets hope things improve!! According to lots of things I've read Honda have been on a massive recruitment drive this year and Brawn was the last part of the puzzle... He's not a miricle worker but he is a master tactician and a talisman of sorts. If Honda and Fry let him sort the team out we'll see big changes.
