Hobgoblin
Got pointed at by a mobile speed camera yesterday, but now am unsure of speed limit. So it was on a rural A road in a Mercedes Sprinter van, some people are saying limit is 40 and some say 50, anyone here know for sure? (I was doing around 47) Fingers crossed
standardsupra20
Depends on the weight of the van you were driving, the speed limit on a normal A road upto 7.5 ton is 50mph.
BASHTHEBISHOP
Your speedo would of been over reading anyways so even if its a 40 limit you were probably doing between 40-45 so you should be fine.
tbourner
If there were no limit signs (and no streetlights) then the road's derestricted isn't it? Hence national limit applies? Hence 60mph?
