edge
So we had a WII night in. After winning again at tennis i sat down to give some others a chance to win:cool: Other half presented me with some Ritz crackers and fine cream cheese so i could not resist, Leant forwards to collect and that was it! OUCH! *thinks i may have some plastic lodged in my face, what did i do wrong this time ??? * Lost a pair of glasses last week after a kaffufle or 3 in a club . Thought that the bruises and random pains was enough for my Pain/Pleasure ive had that week before but NO, WII remote in the face at full swing in tennis mode by a keen strong friend who was desperatly trying to make a come back. Glasses survived (spare set) but loss of some blood and now a huge uk bonnet scoop on my head now makes up for that. Never play with your wii when under the influence of stuff in a tin or glass ( beans and pickle's maybe ? ).... Also eating yellow snow is not nice. AndrewOW
Its just a brilliant console. All the games are great fun to play. Just make sure you have a large living room and nothing around you thats a bit fragile! I've nearly gone through the plasma tv trying to bowl a strike before now! EDIT: What skill level are you up to at tennis, edge? I'm at 2017 and rising
edge
Its not my wii so have not been trying to get points up. The other half whacked the light and seemed to make it brighter too, the dogs have been wise and kept away when we are all dancing about loons. hadyn
Would you recommend a wii then over a ps3 or 360?
AndrewOW
Would you recommend a wii then over a ps3 or 360? Yes I would! I think personally, once better titles have been released, the graphics will be better than say the PS2 (which is still very good IMO), but its the way the games are played that makes it so enjoyable. No cables/controllers to plug in, wi-fi (netplay) and bluetooth etc (all neat and tidy). Its just getting hold of them thats the problem. Nintendo have sold nearly twice as many Wiis than PS3s and 360s since its release, and are having trouble keeping up with demand. That must give you some idea of how popular they are. I just got fed up with playing games using the age old gamepad, as it didn't get you really involved in the games, but with the wiimotes you're swinging the bats/racquets, bowling the balls, punching in boxing and firing arrows from bows (Zelda). Sounds great to me
