Only just behind the number 1 spot now (hope to change that next week) although my ftlb is a lot higher, also look at the graphs between my setup and Pauls old one, at 5500 rpm he is making about 380bhp and im making about 680bhp at the same rpm:cool:

Your power delivery looks nuts now Jamie - at 4,500 RPM you have only 240bhp.... then 1,000 RPM later at 5,500 RPM you have 680bhp - that's + 440bhp in the space of 1k RPM

Do you not miss any of the driveability / power you had at lower RPM on the stockish T67 DBB setup? That seemed like the utopia power - spool - driveability wise for me. Any regrets? :search:

Cheers,

Brian.

Not at all, i have a huge powerband, bigger than i did when i had a 67mm turbo (higher rev limit now) i could happily lose more spool time for more power, i would not care if i lost another 1000-1500rpm off my spool time, lag is over rated, come for a ride in it and you will see:D

SRR does not give a good indicator of when boost hits in as it dont load it up like the street does, on the tdi hub dyno that loads the car up i make about 550bhp at 4500rpm on the old 1.8bar map.

The car is truely insane on the street:cool:

Yeah that's true - loading from rollers is never quite real life on power runs because of the retardation levels used. * edit - what RPM are you tending to run now BTW? *

Would love to come for a ride in it sometime mate - I watch various peoples build threads with interest getting ideas for my next episode in Supra ownership and of course real life is the truest reflection :eyebrows: A shame about Pod as your car would have no doubt put in a great showing :(

Maybe throwing the cat amongst the pidgeons here but how's yours compare with Lee P's now on the road spool and driveability wise thinking of the old big twins lack spool debate?

We have had lots of roll on races, on my old 1.8bar map it was close, you could tell he did just have the edge though, hopefully that will be me with the edge next time we race, VERY fast car Lee's (almost a 1000bhp) and superb to drive, i took it for a spin by myself a few weeks back and very much enjoyed it.
