Havard
Try explaining that to my 4 year old who wouldn't do his tiny piece of homework from his new school because he wanted to play Lego Star Wars on the playstation after he'd already been playing it all day! Last night the controllers were taken away until he does his homework. He's 4 I expected to be having this problem when he's 12........ Video games are mega addictive. I used to play them all the time before I discovered this site........ H.

I am trying to keep his gaming time to an hour a day during the week and a bit longer on weekends. He is a games addict but thankfully he still loves to use his imagination and play other stuff. Namely when he's not playing transformers on the 360, he likes pretending to be Transformers with me

Angarak
I agree with Mr Nintendo. Video games in general are not bad/evil. They help to develop eye-hand co-ordination, puzzle solving and communication skills. Im fed up of all the 'mary whitehouses' there are claiming otherwise, yes some mentally unstable nutters may have stabbed/mutilated/killed someone with ideas from a game, but thats down to the person having a lack of morals/common sense, and has nothing to do with a game. Its the same tossers in power that make the argument of games being evil that take away a parents/teachers/citizens right to chastise kids to teach them right from wrong. A computer game can be violent as hell, but can't be held responsible for the lack of discipline in a persons upbringing, or some mental issue they may have.
