DannoSupra
Is it due to the fact of my decat being over 3" at the flange where it connects to the down pipe? When it got made, i noticed the flange made had a bigger internal diameter than the 1st cat that came off... If i were to take it off and inspect further... What's the diameter suppose to be? Its a UK so no need for restricor ring no? Cheers

SupraJames
Thats quite a spike..! Mine is UK and fully decatted, cant remember flange size, but never had anything quite like that. Do you have a boost controller..?
Ric
Even if fully decatted a UK spec shouldnt go over 1.0 bar due to wastegate size or control or somthing like that. Perhaps a faulty wastegate/actuator maybe

DannoSupra
Turn the gain down;) is it worth me sorting the xhaust tho? Might take is somewhere to get set up properly, any recomandations?
Chris and Alana
Like said before, the UK spec has a wategate that is actually up for the job (unlike the j-spec) so I dont think it would be worth the expense of fiddling with the exhaust as it is more than likely going to be something else that is causing the boost spike. Again someone mentioned it could be a faulty actuator or maybe a vsv. Again it may be due to the settings on the EBC.
DannoSupra
its only doing it since putting the zorst on, thats why i thought it was related anyone recomend where to take it, or diy setting up cheers

Soonto_HAS_soop
As has already been said, adjust the gain to a lower figure to stop the spool up getting out of control and causing the spike.

I'll have a go at it tonight. Has anyone got a copy of the plumbing to do with vacuum vsv bypassing etc to install AVC'R. I've lost mine, i just want to double check everything is ok All i've done with the avc'r is, set it to auto setup. But i got it off all of the time maxing at 1.0Bar, but with it on, its bewteen 1.4 - 1.5 Max The wiring is ok, i made sure the right earth went on the right way on ecu, because there's 2 earths to go on one wire isnt there Cheers for all the info though guys, i might make a gasket/restrictor out of 3" pipe with a flange (making sure the gases escaping go through 3" gap only) and just slot it into the exhaust and use it as a gasket too. If that makes sence to ya'll

Soonto_HAS_soop
I might be wrong but you shouldn't use auto modes on sequential turbo setups...
DannoSupra
Sorted Setting 'A' is now 1.14Bar @ 50% Duty Setting 'B' is now 1.22Bar @ 62% Duty But showing 'B' as 1.3Bar on the Defi's Did all that in 'Manu' in 3rd with TC on !!! Scary on dual carrageway Which one do i take refference off for Boost, Defi's or AVC'R?
