Big Mark
Just found out today that the reason the A/C doesn't work on the Supra I brought just over 2 weeks ago isn't because it needs a re-gas but because it needs a condensor. And not becuase the old is damaged but beecuse it isn't there?? Hence the need for an A/C condensor.
Ric
the aircon condenser is the cylinder type shape behind the front bumper, you should be able to see it through the bumper mouth
wile e coyote
If its not there it meens you will need re gasing as the pipes will be open. I sugest you buy a new 1 as this is what takes out all the moisture from the system and if you put a second hand 1 in you will run the risk of damaging the compresor !£££ America is cheap as we get riped off over ere with AC
Big Mark
Thanks for the advice. My pipes are just hanging there so it's definitely missing. Any idea how much new ones are?
Graham S
the aircon condenser is the cylinder type shape behind the front bumper, you should be able to see it through the bumper mouth The condensor is the radiator in front of the coolant rad dude... The cylinder thing your on about is the reciever/drier Also as the condensor isn't there, the system has been opened to moisture so would highly recommend replacing the reciever/drier as that will be useless now anyway and your A/C will not operate as good as it should.. Condensor should be around £100 +/- a few quid and the R/D is about 30ish quid Sorry Ric don't mean that to sound like you don't know what your talking about. Big Mark
Fantastic. How much for the condensor including P&P. I would come and pick them up but you are a bit far. Though.... there is a slim chance I may be going up north in 2-4 weeks, so can I also have a price including fitting and gassing also please.
