ultra_supra Posted September 4, 2007 Share Posted September 4, 2007 hi all ok the story so far. i changed my brake pads afew days ago using the walk thru guide from here (which was v.handy) so job done i thought... since then my brakes have been squeekin like crazy so thought i must have dun somethin wrong, i did a search a realised that u have to take the metal plates that are pressed up against the pads off n onto the new set (me bein a complete newb did not realise this fact) so i;ve put the metal plates on & put everythin back together and put the pins in etc but there still doin it i wondered if the pads had to go bk on a certain way or the metal plates have to etc? on that note i'm not completely newb as i have put the metal plates on followin the shape of the pads lol can anyone tell me if i'm missin sumthin? any help appreciated oh & its my front brakes Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
