AEM wiring

I am currently in the process of refitting my engine and single turbo. I am going to be using an AEM. As I'm a UKer I require a IAT, aswell as using a 3.5 bar sensor. As the stockers have gone, I'm aware that there are some spare cables coming from the ECU. Am I able to re-use these cables for the new sensors? I also plan to run electric fans so was hoping I could use a few spare cables to turn the relays on assuming the AEM can be used to switch the fans on.

Any info able the spare cables would be gratefully received.

If you download the software and instal it. In the instructions directory there is the installation instructions for the 30-1100 ECU (that's the Supra one)

This lists all of the input/outputs for the ECU. You can use that to figure out which ones to use.

Basically you can wire the MAP sensor into the MAF input, or you can wire it into the MAP input that's there for the J-Spec.

It will tell you which input is the right one for the IAT as well.

Yes. Same with the VVTi as well.

That makes things a little easier as you should be able to replace the stock map sensor with an AEM 3.5bar and use the existing wiring assuming they are connected to the same pins.

All you need to do then is load a MAP based map into the AEM.

Kev, my advice is to use a stock fan, with stock fan shroud, on a stock auto rad, and use the transmission cooler element for a PAS cooler (dead easy to pipe up). You need all the cooling you can get, and electric fans aren't a patch on the stock viscous jobby.

I've already sold my stock one and bought a fluidyne rad with electric fans :(
