Mike
Yes, we could have a spotted section, biscuit spares for sale, biscuit technical, and a trader section for Mcvities and their ilk I have to say I don't believe in 'cross dunking' - one brew, one type of biscuit. That would be our motto
RobSheffield
One Biscuit to rule them all, One Biscuit to find them, One brew to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
Mike
that last bit might confuse the punters? Biscuit binding?
RobSheffield
I was quite impressed by that myself, considering i made it up

That would be our motto Does that mean that when drinking, for example tea, you could only dunk rich teas? Or do you mean that for any one specific cup you can only dunk one type of biscuit? I've been recommended to try dunking an entire Mars bar into a large mug of hot chocolate, but I don't have the patience to try it out

juanchan
That is advanced dunking sir.... I may just have my first advanced dunking experience this weekend then, as I have no solid plans. I'll report back with the results...

juanchan
I'll take tentative steps to start, maybe Snacksize or Funsize. If I can some pictoral evidence of the outcome, I will do! Are there any intermediate steps, between double dunking (what I understand as two biscuits at the same time) and the full-on Mars bar, for a novice like myself to try out? All in the aid of research!
RobSheffield
I would hesitantly suggest the coveted triple dunk, but take care....many a time it has claimed the life of a novice dunker
juanchan
I may have to break out the extra large mug to accommodate 3 at once! Nothing worse than a rich tea drowning in a good brew, ruining the last few dregs. I'll take all necessary precautions!
RobSheffield
Keep spoon on standby
juanchan
But by the time you get the spoon in place, the biscuit has snapped and the bow section has sunk, lost forever in the milky waves. Or do you need three hands? One for the brew, one for the dunkers and one for the spoon?
RobSheffield
Ideally an assistant should be with you during novice dunking sessions, to provide assistance, moral support and not least to step in when it all goes 'biscuit up'
juanchan
Now there's a challenge for tomorrow night in town: "Find an assistant for novice dunking sessions". See what reactions I get

juanchan
Sad to report, but I was sober That should be sorted in the next hour or so I think McVities need to develop a beer friendly biscuit, for dunking down the pub. It'd make a change from having a pack of Walkers at least!
