Lost Tortoise

Went to a friends earlier and just happned to have the camera on me, my mate pointed out something moving about at the bottom of the garden and it turned out to be this little fellow,

Still haven't tracked down the owner so not sure what to do with it! my friends garden backs on to a quite a large woods, so it may have came quite a distance

 

any ideas what he should do with it?

Tom keep hold of mate.. the owner will be going mad with worrie.. If you do not find the owner we will have it as we have freinds with two others. 1 is 85 y/o and the other is 120. SO LOOK AFTER IT..

wow, I wonder how old this one is? any ideas on the type it is?

Don't let it get too cold or it will hibernate..and could die. keep it in a box indoors or a plastic storage box.. feed it curly leaf lettuce/apple cucumber and they love dandy lions.. they also need bathing in about 2" of tepid water so it cleans its skin.(don't leave it in the water as it can drown if it puts it head down.
