RedM Posted April 14, 2007 Share Posted April 14, 2007 Right then, I've removed the centre cap on my stock 17s and right in the centre of the wheel/hub section (not the cap) is a threaded thing about two inches across. What does this bit do? Also, there is a hole in this part with a split pin through it. This pin appears to prevent something that looks like a cookie cutter from moving although it has some play in it. What is the cookie cutter thing? Through the bolt there will be a hole, the split pin goes into the whole and through two of the castle nut bits to make sure it doesn't spin off...
