MarkTheBoy
Getting really excited... Only a few hours to go until the flight. Just picked up the stag do tshirts (thanks to Ken @ Status for sorting me out so quickly) Everyone I speak to says the beer is overpriced but the ladies should more than make up for it Cant wait! Wish me luck
DaveK
Beer is expensive. If I remember correctly, it was something like £5 per pint - prices reminded me of Tokyo actually.
RedM
The beer is cheaper than in Sweden which is why the place is packed with Swedes at the weekends. Nice place. Don't forget the sex museum and if you like your illegal substances don't forget to visit the autonomous zone, Christiania. The main street is called Pusher Street with pot being on sale openly and probably harder stuff too. I'm only into me beer, personally. RedM
From Wikipedia: The people in Christiania have developed their own set of rules, completely independent of the Danish government. The rules forbid stealing, guns, bulletproof vests and hard drugs. Famous for its main drag, known as Pusher Street, where hash and Skunk weed were sold openly from permanent stands until 2004, it nevertheless does have rules forbidding hard drugs, such as heroin and cocaine. I went there to see a band called Fugazi play at a venue called Loppen. They are well known for their anti-drugs stance so the irony was overwhelming. aido
It was £7 a pint when I was working out there! That was for the Tuborg Christmas Beer, that stuff is right nice! Can't remember the names of the places we went, there was a big garden type place I can't remember the name of too, had fun fair rides and stuff, I was drunk so don't remember! Places did seem to be open until really late and we found some good bars off the beaten track when we were just staggering around at 5am! There were a lot of pubs by the river but they were rammed when we went to those, it was a proper pain in the arse! Good place though, and the birds are quite fit, just watch out for the bikes, they're everywhere and I nearly knocked a few over!
R Black
I was in Stockholm this weekend & the beer their is well dear, loadsa of uber goodlookin tot tho, if its like stockholm things get going late, think the locals stay in drinking moonshine before spending their hard earned. If Copenhagen's the same with cheaper alcohol, u should have a good time, i found prague & few German cities are better overall tho.

MarkTheBoy
Got back sunday night after the best weekend of all time!!! Great weather, awesome crumpet, fantastic bars and awesome crumpet.... .... they really were worth mentioning twice! Beer was very pricy and apart from one bar it was all fiver a pint (that one bar by the way was called 'The Moose' and had blood on the ceiling!) Strip bars were tenner to get in, tenner a beer and a one'er for a dance. Ouch! Girls were better in the regular bars so guess where we spent the weekend? I spent nearly £600 in three days so if you're gonna go make sure you're ready for it! Cheers all for the tips
