Homer
I saw Rosies puppies this weekend (sorry, had to be said! ) Stig is a fecking superb dog, I've wanted a ridgeback since I was a kid and seeing one again has renewed the urge to get one! They've both got great temprement too, but can tell they're spoiled for attention a little You weren't joking about the damage to the garden! Chris Wilson
Lovely pups I think you are brave with a Dobermann and a Ridgeback in what I assume is an urban garden! Some of the Ridgebacks I have come across are pretty territorial, I wonder if the gent in the picture will be doing this in 9 months time You should come down to our local boozer, a chap there fancies himself as some sort of authority on Ridgebacks, he has 2 and lived in SA for years. He never brings them out to any public places, when asked why he just says "it isn't wise" God knows what they are like, he makes them sound like they should be under the DWA act... The last one I saw regulary was the landlords of a pub in Mobberley, Cheshire, and it spent all its time scrounging food from the punters, and seemed very laid back. They are meant to be great guard dogs but quite frankly I don't think he's got a clue. Dobermann lives up to his guarding instincts though. Hmm sounds a bit odd. They are reknown for being "far from any extreme" in anything and although if cornerd will fight they are not confrontational dogs given a choice. Sounds like maybe he likes the idea that his dogs are tough, or he didn't train them/socialise them, or he gots 2 bad ones! Equally- why would you get another if the first was like that? Strange. The one you've seen sounds more like it. Totally food driven this one it's ridiculous.

Plus it would be a 10ft fence on the neighbours side with the step up. They're miles off anything like that anyway, I still have to lift him in and out of the car he's such a big baby lol should be in a different house by the time they are considering such like. Stig is adorable, I love that little bit of skin on his head, so cute! Yeah he will always have that, it does make him very adorable. Somehow he's decided that if he puts his head in your lap and looks up and you he must be cute... sooo difficult to resist!
Scooby
They really are nice dogs (especialy Raptor, but there a re a few probs I can see: 1. They are usless when it comes to helping with Rosies car, I asked them 4 times to pass the BIG hammer. 2. Cant see them getting withing 100 yards of Rosies nice new seats without getting them dirty. 3. You end up playing with the dog on a sunday not polishing you car, 4. We all end up talking a bout Rosies "puppies" wich could be taken the wrong way.
