CJ
Ah well, I am back off my hols and I am already missing my beloved Kos. So much so, I am seriously thinking of moving out there permanently once I think of a way of making a living whilst I am there. If anyone has any ideas (an internet based business would work well) then let me know.

SupraStar 3000
welcome home CJ. I spent 2 days looking for you at JAE before I remembered you sold you car to Gamer DOH! (only joking, wasn't 2 days. It was 3)
CJ
Thanks for the messages guys. I would love to say I am glad to be home but that really would be a lie. If it wasn't for my youngest son, I may just have stayed out there for a month or so to see how the land was lying (sp). I did a little research before coming home. To rent a 2 bedroom flat (basic but habitable) would set me back - wait for it - 3000 euros per annum! That includes all the amenities and taxes. And unlike here in the UK, nobody works to get bigger houses or better cars. They work to earn enough to live nicely with no worries. I like that idea

Charlotte
As Neil Young once said..."A man needs a maid" LOL. What's a few hours cleaning when you live there?!
CJ
LOL. What's a few hours cleaning when you live there?! True...and as it only a small place with no carpets, it wouldn't be that much of a chore before spending the day at the beach eh?
Charlotte
True...and as it only a small place with no carpets, it wouldn't be that much of a chore before spending the day at the beach eh? Great, so I don't even have to work, just clean the house? I'm in! Have you considered moving there, 'taking it all in' for a few months and then starting some kind of web based estate agency type thing? I'm not sure whether you could compete with the locals but I really can't think of any web based stuff. Unless, hang on, you could make those different coloured sand in a bottle type things they'd sell like hot cakes!
Supragal
Ahh more than just the holiday blues!! I'm dreading going to Italy in a few weeks time as I know I will be after getting a holiday home over there. Argh.
