TT-DEK
Hope you can help? My freind was caught doing 106mph average on motorway. Policeman asked for documents which luckily he had with him. This was 7 months ago? My freind has received no summons or anything since? 1. Has he been lucky and got away with it? 2. Do the police have to act within a given time? 3. Where legally does he stand? Any positive info would be appreciated, as he,s been soiling his pants since:D
Pig
IIRC they have a limit of 6 months. Sounds like he is VERY lucky that "friend" of yours!

Terminator
I think it depends on the circumstances, how quickly you get summond. A friend of mine got called to court 10 days before the 6 month was up for speed in excess of 100mph. I am pretty sure his solicitor said is was common for them to leave it until the last minute.
