Lewis
Well, they quoted me happy, £50 more than the NA for the TT. Unfortunately, I am losing money as my current insurance company underwriters won't insure me on the TT (due to age - go figure?) so all sorts of penalty and cancellation fees but Scott was very informative and honest and gave me a good quote and a friendly chat. Hopefully Sky will continue to see me right in the future. In total they saved me around £400 when compared to a different underwriter from my current insurance company (Yesinsurance.co.uk). Although..........there was no mention of any haribo? We want haribo! /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_angry.gif So thanks to scott and the guys at sky. Pete
I'd have a moan at the current insurers as it's them that are cancelling the policy effectively by not catering for your needs, not you! Oddly, the NA cost me more to insure than my TT.

martin_a
Oddly, the NA cost me more to insure than my TT. i had a quote like that from tesco. uk tt was cheaper than an import NA Still, Sky have been dead good with me. I'm paying £550 fully comp for mertoc so as long as they don't ramp the price up next year (all the others have tried that and i've taken business elsewhere) then i'm sure i'll be with them for a while. check the mod listing and details though. When i first insured the FTO with them the reg details and quite a few other things were wrong. Sorted it out but make sure you read it through. m. Thorin
Just waiting on a call back from Sky, hoping they can beat my renewal. The guy I spoke to sounded like a right cockney geezer, said he was going to ask around and try and get the lowest they could. Hopefully they will, wasn't impressed with my Norwich Union renewal price going up £250.

Pete
i had a quote like that from tesco. uk tt was cheaper than an import NA UK TTs are cheaper than all imports to insure. Mine is a Jap TT though. Still, Sky have been dead good with me. I'm paying £550 fully comp for mertoc You did better than me then! That's what I hate about insurance, it's so damn inconsistant. Mertoc was insured via Sky when I had it too.
Thorin
Well £800 for me, pretty good I thought (although it makes me sick the quotes some people get). Jap TT - alloys and exhaust declared garaged every night (yeah right, if I can be arsed) 3 points 5+ years no claims 29 years old nice housing estate... but in a dodgyish area.
