SUPRASUZUKI
Interesting problem last night. I left the car parked on the drive with the radio on whilst messing about in the front garden. I got distracted by my better half, which of course meant that when I got back to the car later the battrey was flat. No problem, got the battery charger out and charged it up. Drove the car into the garage, turned the ignition off, but the engine kept running.... The turbo timer's set to 0 (don't bother with it for work and back as there's plenty of time for cool down either end of the commute) but the engine's still running. I ended up disconnecting the battery negative terminal to cut the engine. Not a major issue, just strange:search: .

Ben-san
I had the same problem some time back, when the battery terminals had poor connection due to oxidation. The car would cut out mid-drive , which confused the turbo timer into a constant ON state. Little to my knowledge, I parked up at work at 8:30am, and returned to the car at 6:30pm only to find that it was still idling since the morning. There went a quarter tank of fuel! Set the timer back up to 30secs, and switch it off and on whilst the car is running. Then try taking your keys out and see if the timer is behaving correctly again. Let us know how it goes. wez_p
I parked up at work at 8:30am, and returned to the car at 6:30pm only to find that it was still idling since the morning. There went a quarter tank of fuel! frightening! i always seem to wait for it to switch off anyway just in case of this - completely pointless having it eh?! Ben-san
I know what you mean Wez, silly really as I have no real hard runs most days. I do leave it switched off now, so 20 seconds of gathering stuff to go upstairs does the trick for me. Some say that the stock setup doesn't require this because of the water jacket system. absz
sounds like the turbo timer, if it does it again try putting the handbrake lever down as that should bypass the timer if wired in correctly.
