DannyW
i have a 1993 N/A showing code 31 which is an air mass sensor fault. Where is the air mass sensor???? somewhere near the air intake i presume? Pics of my air intake area, feel free to point out the sensor for me:
Prof. Monkey
NA's are MAP not MAF. Your map sensor is on the passenger side, just above the plenum, underneath the windscreen bulkhead, it has a small loom going to it and a vac pipe from a strange union coming away from the side of the plenum (pointing towards the engine) with a plastic convoluted pipe on it. Whitesupraboy2
with this type of fault, what symptoms were you getting?
DannyW
Not getting any symptoms that i know of, i bought the car with the fault already present. I get the handbrake light and the engine check lights come on and stay on when i get to higher revs. Checked for codes and this is what it showed. Somewhere here then?
