supra tango
hello everybody i have a question about blitz nur spec exhaust ive had fitted to my supra well because the exhaust keeps scrapping on speed hump and uneven roads i thought i would try to get the exhaust heightened a little bit but ive been told that my exhaust should have been supplied with reinforced rear box rubbers which clearly was not put on with exhaust ,now the question does anybody know if these rubbers are supplied with exhaust as standard or if i have to buy them seperate if so does anybody now where i can get some from thank you all
Ian W
it seems a common occurrence with Nur Spec owners that they hang low and thus scrape on speed bumps etc as you mentioned. I would imagine that yes it should have come with reinforced rubbers as my Apexi certainly did, however i can't see how this would address the problem of it hanging low enough to hit a speed bump. i'm sure there was one member who had modified the hanger or something similar to heighten the mid section slightly. am sure someone else who actually has one will be along to comment soon. welcome by the way. psymon
Mine didn't come with reinforced ... After reading on here about ground clearance, i bent the long bar on the mid section slightly to add a bit of clearance. I get over speed bumps fine, but it also depends how slamed your car is. LeeT
i never had a problem with speed bumps with my nur spec either. i just reused the stock rubbers. my sideskirts were lower than the exhaust
JohnK
I too reussed the stock rubbers, had it for 4 years and only had a problem when I lowered the car. This was overcome when I Had a custom 2nd decat pipe made which made it sit a little higher.
