S7EVE
Im supposed to be working from home today as I need to pop out this afternoon on family matters. This has been my day so far... - 8:45 - Woke up - 9:00 - Fell down the stairs, made a drink and sat on sofa with laptop on my lap. Turn on company mobile. - 9:00-10:15 - scan this forum - 10:15-10:45 - Burna phones me and plan events for the weekend and a lengthy chat about exhausts. - 10:45-11:45 - Browsing the forum... I have done no work whatsoever.... My question is how the hell does anyone manage to be productive working from home? You've got to be like a nun! Home working is ace! Honey
Yes, working from home is difficult. I am looking forward to move my office out of my flat. Maybe then I can do a better business Forums are quite horrible for the daily business. You want to have a short look what´s new in there and in the same moment you´re stucked Looks like we have all the same friday

Ian C
I'm actually working from home today as I'm waiting on a delivery, but it's good clear uninterrupted time to get some appraisals done and it actually works! I couldn't do it every day though -Ian
penguin
my boss works from "home" all the time - i've even heard her say a few times to others she fancies a day off - instead of taking holidays, she "works from home"... what a piss take - cause she's hardly reachable! mawby
The only way this site gets maintain is because I can 'work' from home... just like now. I find working from home quite productive if I have lots of interesting stuff to do. At the moment I have virtually nothing to do though which is actually annoying as I get bored very easy if I'm not busy, hence I keep tweeking things on the site. Maybe I need to install that plugin that allows pizzas to be ordered via the forum.....
Ewen
I had a stab at this in the early eighties, and it didnt work. I spent all night catching up with what I should have finished during the day, but had'nt. I've got a day off today, and I'm shocked to see theres as many logged on on during working hours as there is usually in the evenings and weekends:)

Supragal
I'm brilliant at working form home. The key is setting targets. Decide what you want to get done in the day then as long as you achieve it then it's ok. I mean realistic goals not like "log on" or anything. Supragal
yeah my number one would be 'get out of bed'. thing is, when I go to work I get up before 6am. If I work from home then I can get up at 7.50. mmmm. sleeeeeeeeep. Not that I'm allowed to work from home anymore with this dumb new job role. But no cup of tea.

My delightful puppy wakes me up at 5.15 whining anyway to be let out for a wee anyway. Has done for the last 3 weeks or so. haha. it's really amusing.
