supradibbs
whats your thoughts on my problem The car was maped by paul whiffin few weeks back with the emanage and everything was dandy untill one night coming onto boost the car started to run like crap would not idle etc, when i stoped found that the fuel pressue on the aeromotive was only showing 22psi so after adjusting the pressure regained 40psi on idle also had too change no6 spark blug. Now the car idles sweet as a nut afrs are spot on 14.7-15.0 and are fine coming onto boost but when maintaing boost afrs drop to 10.0s at a bar the car still seems to pull fine but at 1.3 bar like a sack off poo,my first thought was dodgy fpr so when i went back to pauls riged up to a external gauge and he says that the fuel pressure came up as it should but he could not get it too map was all or nothing???? So off i went back to turbofit where james spoted 2 things purple wire was earthing out ??? and the green wire was doing the same so corrected this issue and the car seemed fine quick blast up the road came on boost nicely etc but when i went home after longer sprint still the same but does feel a little better 1.3 bar forget it cars going back too turbofit on thursday but can any one suggest anything i have tried running without the vacum to the fpr at a 1.0 bar 40 psi made no diffrence any suggestions
Alex
Think we need to know sow more information here. What parts specifically make up your fuel system ie "650cc hi imp injectors brand new"? Who installed the eManage? (not mapped but actually did the wiring?) Have they done them before? When the initial mapping was done what was the static fuel pressure set to? And does the system maintain pressure for a reasonable amount of time if you do a static pressurisation via the diag port? It should just drop off slowly. Is the vac/boost reference line attached securely, have you tried a new piece of hose? (You shouldn't run it without this hose attached imo.) supradibbs
the harness was wired by the electrican at turbo fit not sure what experence he has with them but seems to have been alright up to now and he had done alot of electrical jobs on my car and they have always been top notch injectors are 650cc with resistor pack as for the maping side would need to check with mr whiffin but as i say up till that pressure drop off everything was running fine
Alex
What about the rest of your setup? And...which make of 650's are they if you're running a resistor pack?

Ian C
Just trying to understand this, are you saying it's overfuelling a lot when on boost or all the time? -Ian

Ian C
Well it sounds like too much fuel pressure but you say that's working fine? You are seeing a 1:1 rise in boost pressure and fuel pressure?
supradibbs
right bit more info i went out last night after seeing jakes post about static fuel pressure check and with the igniation on running 12v pump mod i was seeing 57psi:blink: so i adjusted the static pressure back to what it was set to orginally 42psi now on odle am seeing about 37psi but i still have the same problem under boost
