Stonkin
Hi guys, I have a few vids from santa pod, but a lot of them are well over 25Mb and putfile seems to only allow up to 25. How do i make them smaller or is there anywhere else where they can be put? I should really know the answer to this, but i just cant think! Cheers
mawby
If they are of club cars or of a club event then the club can host them via google.

mawby
Thing is you don't want to make them too small otherwise you lose all the detail in them. PM sent.

Ark
Mate, start looking here for video related stuff: http://www.videohelp.com What format are you using right now?
Stonkin
what format? erm? they were recorded on a camcorder and saved directly to a dvd by the camcorder as a VRO file. I then used some software called VideoReDo to cut out the bits i didnt want, break the scenes up and resave them as mpg's
Ark
Probably mpeg2 then, judging by the file sizes. Perfectly serviceable, but very big. Personally I'd convert them to DivX to compress them by about 60% without significant quality loss. Plenty good enough for the Internet anyway.
