Ceptik
A user in an agency in the building uses Lotus Notes. We dont support it but i said i'd have a look at the problem anyway (only because she's damn gorgeous). She has created some folders in Lotus Notes and needs to delete them to clear things up a bit. When going to 'Action', 'Folder Options', 'Delete Folder' it comes up with an error reading "Cannot execute the specified command". Im clueless as i dont use this software but i wanna look good! Someone help please!

michael
Have you tried pressing delete when the folder in question is highlighted? Notes is odd like that sometimes. We have a Notes team at work, if I remember I'll ask them tomorrow, hateful software in my opinion.
Ceptik
try http://www.notesnet.com and if it helps i want her number! other than that tell her to get a proper system! Thanks. Tried that site but couldn't seem to find anything. Have you tried pressing delete when the folder in question is highlighted? Notes is odd like that sometimes. We have a Notes team at work, if I remember I'll ask them tomorrow, hateful software in my opinion. Tried the delete key, nothing. If you could ask that'll be fab. Im starting to suspect that something is up with the program itself.

DaveM
Check the Access Control properties of the mail database (right click on the mail file and go into Access Control), you may find that the user does not have the necessary access rights to delete. Alex
Would it be because Notes is in Office Mode (ie Network) and not an off Line profile? Or visa versa. The Profiles can be changed at the bottom right...i know if I lose my network connection I can't do jack with it on the network profile... Is she even on a Notes server?
