jza800 Posted July 23, 2021 Share Posted July 23, 2021 I have en supra na, where i am gonna put an turbo setup on it, what is the best turbo setup to that engine what camshaft should i get. the hp range is 500 hp.. i have en w58 gearbox, is that fine to 500 hp, or should i get en r154 box.. i like to get another air intake, and coil packs.. what clutch should i go for? AC93 Posted July 23, 2021 Share Posted July 23, 2021 Firstly you need to decide on a budget Budget for ECU, injectors, exhaust, intercooler, sensors etc. W58 won't do 50 0hp, R154 or V160/1 or BMW conversion would be needed. You can save money from not buying cams, stock cams will make that power easily, just do a compression test, get a GTE headgasket and boost it! Noz Posted July 24, 2021 Share Posted July 24, 2021 Aim for 400hp. 500hp risks the transmission as mentioned and can second the fact cams aren't needed for anything under 700hp. Get a 56 or 58mm turbo. You can leave stock compression then (no head gasket needed). Srd sell a low cost standalone. A nice route to take. Whifbitz do a coil conversion and 4 inch intakes.
