Has anyone else watched this?

Very interesting watch, and if your into climate change and the destruction of our planet and sealife your like it too!

Never really liked seafood myself but it seems the intake of seafood is killing the planet.

There is no such thing as sustainable fishing.

The focus at this time is plastic but fishing is the biggest downfall.

Watched this last night, although shocking I found it boring and not engaging. It was a very biased look at things.

for example when they were on about fishing Halibut, what it was like 100 years ago landing tons per week, to now only landing 2 tons per year in the UK but zero mention of the strangled fishing quotas that prevent it being landed. Which in turn leads to fish being mindlessly killed for no reason as put back into the sea dead as cannot be landed due to the BS euro quotas.

Was it Iceland that done that mass killing as traditional hunt, that was truly shocking.

It has always been a case of getting the Japs to toe the line, but they never do.

There's a fact check on BBC website that i was reading about this that says that the fishing statistics used to extrapolate a time when the seas would be depleted of stocks is very outdated and doesn't take into account changes to fishing practices since.

They do however seem to agree with the stats on fishing waste, plastic pollution etc.

^ Oof. Please don’t mention BBC and fact checking in the same sentence. That really won’t add any power to your argument 😉

Don't you usually quote Wikipedia for technical advice 🙄
