Curious on how many here that has done either of these conversions: • Getrag DCT, m3/4 any generation • ZF 8HP70 How was it, any issues or struggles and what would you do differently if you did it again? Sorry i haven’t been so active on here but yeah, i managed to get it working quite nicely. It is a surprisingly easy swap, the hardest is probably the tuning of the gearbox . There is a few who have swapped to an 8hp transmission who are able to use the OEM TCU even but i went full standalone for my car. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Paranoid_Flake Posted January 18, 2022 Share Posted January 18, 2022 What route did you take? 8HP70 or DCT? And what diff did you use? With stock auto diff i can imagine the first gears are short and do not put enough load on the engine to get the turbos to spool up fast. Last august I bought an Supra RZ-S with an auto box, at this point i'm doing some research which route to take :D. Btw you have any vids of your conversion?
