As it says 'emergency repair'. Think if it was mine, I'd just take the hit and get a new tyre as you'll know the former puncture is there, peace of mind and all that. MaveriK Posted September 21, 2020 Share Posted September 21, 2020 Tried that gunk to spray in a punctured tyre, once deposited into the tyre it preceded to empty itself out of the hole and onto my shoes so i had to drive 50 miles with the tyre hanging on/off. Dnk Posted September 22, 2020 Author Share Posted September 22, 2020 I took this off the RAC website so i'll give it a go, if it does what they say you'd never know you had a puncture or actually get one Slime Tyre Sealant is not to be confused with the run of the mill 'get you home' puncture repair tyre additive. Slime is an environment friendly blend of polymers, fibres, binders and congealing agents which actively plugs and seals punctures in the tyre tread area instantly. Slime is added to the tyre via the valve and remains fluid inside the tyre wall. Punctures up to 3mm wide will then be sealed the instant they happen. Slime is guaranteed to remain fluid and effective inside the tyre for 2 years. Should you wish to remove Slime simply remove the tyre from the wheel and wash it out.
