After nearly 10 happy years, I have decided to sell my Supra. I can't justify having a car any more as I don't use it much. I'll be sorry to see it go.

Make: Toyota

Model: Supra MKIV 2JZ-GTE VVTi Twin Turbo RZ-S

Year: 1998 S reg

Colour: Grey/Gunmetal

Transmission: Auto with Tiptronic override on the steering wheel

Trim: Leather front and rear seats. Original Toyota mats (set of aftermarket mats provided as well)

Facelift: Yes

Mileage: 65,100 miles. The car is used occasionally so this may go up slightly.

MOT remaining: March 2019

Service history & documentation:

Services from 2001 on are stamped in the service book.

Invoices back to 2004.

I have owned the car since August 2008. Since then it has always been serviced at Garage Whifbitz. I have full invoices from 2008 onwards.

Cambelt changed Feb 2018 (64,745 miles).

MOT certificates back to 2001.

Previous purchase documentation and receipts.

Road tax reminders back to 2004.

Current and previous V5 documents.

Car's location: Acton, West London

Modifications:

BPU upgrade:

HKS Front Mount Intercooler

Boost gauge

* Blitz Dual Solenoid Boost Controller.

* Blitz Dump valve.

* TRL Fuel Cut Defender.

* Blitz Nur Spec exhaust with optional silencer (currently removed).

* Walboro Fuel Pump.

* I'm not particularly mechanically minded. For these starred items, the manufacturer/supplier is based on documentation I have. Please verify the details when inspecting the car if the manufacturer is important to you.

18” Mania Racing alloys, recently refurbished.

UK spec brake discs & pads.

Sigma S30 alarm with 2 x remotes and keypad mounted on the windscreen.

Battery terminals have been changed to take a standard sized battery.

I have documentation showing a Tracker was fitted originally. It’s not under subscription and I don’t know if it’s still on the car.

ICE:

I wanted to provide a full system discretely while leaving the whole boot space available.

Kenwood DNX5240BT 2-DIN touchscreen receiver with Sat Nav (UK & Europe maps), Bluetooth & CD/DVD player. Displays Supra logo on start-up :)

USB socket in glove box for a flash drive to store music.

Pioneer TS-WX77A 200W space-saving subwoofer (boot mounted).

Pioneer TS 170Ci 170W 17cm speakers mounted in original door locations behind Pioneer grills with dash-mounted tweeters.

Pioneer TS-E1702i 180W speakers behind original grills.

Kenwood KAC-7404 360W amp (boot mounted).

I also have the original Toyota subwoofer if you want to restore the boot back to its original condition, but you’d need connectors etc.

Good bits:

See above :)

Bad bits:

The plastic case of the main key is held together with sticky tape. The key is usable in an emergency but wouldn’t stand up to continual use. I use the metal spare key as the day-to-day key.

The windscreen has a small stone chip. The car has passed several MOTs with this so I have never bothered getting it fixed.

Small paint mark on the driver’s wingmirror and a small scratch under the front bumper. There is a handful of other small exterior scratches, mostly not noticeable unless you’re looking for them.

The plastic lining the insider of the boot is noticeably scratched.

The original driver’s side floormat has a tear in it.

The underside of the luggage cover in the boot is a bit manky.

PRICE: £18,500

Thanks AC93! @Tyson: I can't find any reference to the VSS or suspension arms in the invoices I have, so I assume they have not been replaced. No warning lights on the dashboard though, so everything's good at the moment.
