Auto box weirdness.

The car is a Toyota Crown, 1JZ GE powered with a normal 340 series auto trans.

The symptoms are, when cold the box operates as normal, everything operates smoothly with absolutely no issues.

When warm, as you coast to slow down there seems to be a significant amount of engine braking, and the box doesn't like changing down gears, so much so that as you get towards low revs/idle the car starts to judder then it will drop a gear. Upshifts are fine, o/d works as normal, all gears can be selected manually.

Ive changed the fluid, theres no oil cooler. Has anybody got any ideas? Speed sensor maybe? Seems odd that it works fine when cold.
