Well the front ABS sensors brackets await powder coating. I have finally got round to removing the gearbox, engine, placing the body on a dolly and removing the front suspension / drive train.

Most of the remaining front end parts came through yesterday.  I'm still outstanding a grease cap for one hub and a few nuts and bolts.  But this should allow me to rebuild the front subframe. On

If the foam in mine is anything to go by I suspect most others will be as bad and won't be sealing the flaps properly.  This will cause problems with maximising heating and cooling efficiency.

100%, when my NA should be on full defrost, a fair amount of air still comes out of the driver's vents, presumably due to the deteriorated foam, so it is something that i'd do if my HVAC is ever out of the car (let's hope that will be by choice, not necessity!). You've got an Incredible eye for detail, when you get her finished it will be as if it rolled off the production line, if not better!
