Amazing Ric!

Where did you get the number plate flipper? easy enough to install?

It was from Ebay dude, they took a bit of modification but easy enough in the end.

Because of the way it works (folds upwards, to clear the intercooler) it has to be flush with the bumper, so the mechanism stands out slightly, a pain, but i didn't want to cover the intercooler with it down, so it will be OK until i find another solution for now.

They sell a electric version, or the manual pull out (which mine is) i didn't want to pay the extra for electric when i knew i wouldn't be keeping it forever (with the fit)

Some pics of the unit and Jurgens excellent plates:

Here you can see the mechanism, it's not SO bad, but not ideal either.

The plate folds upwards though to avoid the intercooler as much as possible.

Do you have to drill into the crash bar to fit the flip plate Ric?

No dude, I drilled into the bumper before the crash bar (front bolts), then it comes with some metal bracket material to which I fastened to the same bolt as the intercooler (central area) for the rear bolts it's solid it isn't going anywhere.

The model I listed above comes with loads of different fastenings to use whichever is best for the situation.

A couple of updates to the thread here:

I've been looking for a Shine Auto carbon defuser for a while to compliment the Shine Auto Ridox kit i've had on the car for a while, i managed to find one the other week thanks to a local member on here.

It had a few marks and scratches on it so i decided to send it to my bodyshop for re-lacquering.

I used the same NeoChrome fastenings on the defuser

I took the opportunity to change the oil and filter and fitted my sandwich plate for the oil temp and pressure sensors.

When i had the car painted, the paint-shop couldn't take apart the door handles, there was remains of red on the inside of the handle which annoyed me, i got some new handles from Keron and took them apart and had them painted.

Then it was time for the fast and furious 7 meet thanks Manos for the photo's

After the defuser was re-lacquered i started fitting it:

I tried fitting the vortex generators with my ridox spats but they didn't fit how i liked, and touched the spats, so i decided no to fit these.

I had to make 2 custom brackets to hold the sides of the defuser (because i have ridox spats i couldn't use the shine auto ones)

A couple of fitted pics, hard with the sunlight we are having this week!

Perfect! Diffuser finishes it off a treat

Have you mounted the number plate a different way now? Looks like a tidy job :)

EDIT: Just looked back at old pics and it's the same, didn't realise it would sit so high and clear the intercooler. Definitely going to order one now!

Yeah it's the better solution out there that I've seen without blocking intercooler too much

Absolutely beautiful mate
